2021 Partial Eclipse Cities

On June 10, 2021, an annular, or "ring of fire," solar eclipse occured in Canada, Greenland, and Russia. In the U.S., a partial solar eclipse occured in all or parts of Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont, Wisconsin, and West Virginia. The following is a list of major U.S. cities that experienced a partial solar eclipse on June 10 and the approximate percentage of partial eclipse that occurred for each.

Note that in all cases in the U.S., except in northern Alaska, this eclipse began before sunrise and in many cases maximum eclipse occured before sunrise.
