On March 14, 2025, a total lunar eclipse will occur in North America, South America, and parts of Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific. In the western U.S., the eclipse will begin on the night of March 13 while in the eastern U.S. the eclipse will begin in the early morning hours of March 14. The duration of totality for this eclipse will be 1 hour and 5 minutes. The maps below show the eclipse visibility range for the U.S. and the rest of the world.
