On March 14, 2025, a total lunar eclipse occurred in North America, South America, and parts of Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific. In the western U.S., the eclipse began on the night of March 13 while in the eastern U.S. the eclipse began in the early morning hours of March 14.
