2025 Partial Eclipse Cities

On March 29, 2025, a partial solar eclipse will occur in parts of North America, South America, Europe, and Africa. The following is a list of major U.S. and world cities that are located inside the partial eclipse visibility range on March 29.

Note that in the western hemisphere, except for a few cases, this eclipse begins before sunrise and maximum eclipse occurs before sunrise. As such, for western hemisphere cities we have only indicated times for sunrise and the end of the eclipse. For the few cases where maximum eclipse occurs after sunrise, we have also noted the time for maximum eclipse and the approximate maximum percentage of partial eclipse in the footnotes. For all eastern hemisphere cities we have indicated times for maximum eclipse and the approximate maximum percentage of partial eclipse.

Remember that you must use special eclipse safety glasses or viewers at all times during a partial solar eclipse. The NationalEclipse.com Eclipse Store offers a wide variety of certified safe eclipse glasses and viewers.

All times and percentages shown on this page are only representative samples. To determine the precise times and percentage for your exact location on eclipse day, use the interactive eclipse maps developed by Xavier Jubier.
