On March 20, 2034, a total solar eclipse will occur in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. In Africa, the path of totality will cross over Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Sudan, and Egypt. In the Middle East, the path of totality will cross over Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iran. In Asia, the path of totality will cross over Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and China. The maximum duration of totality for this eclipse will be 4 minutes and 9 seconds. The maps below show the path of totality over Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. To experience the total phase of the eclipse, you must be located within the path of totality represented on the maps below. Areas outside the path of totality will get a partial solar eclipse only.
